The South Liverpool Motor Cycle Club

Welcome to the South Liverpool and Mersey Motor Cycle Club web site

The clubs currently run in tandem and are ACU affiliated to the North Western Centre for the Mersey Club and the Cheshire Centre for the South Liverpool Motor Cycle Club.

The clubs are both motor cycle sport based and meet at the Junction Pub, Rainford Junction on most Tuesday after 21.00. The Junction Pub is opposite the Rainford Junction Railway Station, Rainford, near Ormskirk.

We are a small group who organise adult observed trials, vintage sprinting and provide technical support for other events. The team are trained scrutineers, noise meter operators and stewards for most type of ACU Motor Cycle Events. Unfortunately we do not cater for junior riders or advise on areas were off road or mini motorcycles can be ridden.

The trials we run are :-

The Foster Cup Trial held at Cicain nr Mold - North Wales - 1st February 2009

Lomax Cup held on Easter Monday - April 13th in the Glen Cerriog, North Wales.

The Reliance Trial for Pre 65 machines -Booth farm nr Buxton Derbyshire - May 31st 2009

The Aintree Race Course - Motor Cycle Sprint - 28th June 2009 ---- 3rd Event

Ken Wilson is the contact for the Aintree Sprint

This event is run with the cooperation and support of the North West VMCC

The event is open to all classes of motor cycle and 3 wheelers.
